  • We went to the dealership a few months ago during one of their Panthers autograph sessions. I have been looking for the right Jeep for months. After test driving two cars and playing the overrated, pretend "get to know you" with the sales consultant, I said I wanted pricing on the grand cherokee and the wrangler. My boyfriend then got in line for the autograph session and I was left waiting for the sales consultant to come back with the numbers. He came back with one paper. It didn't even state which vehicle the numbers were representing. I asked and he said the grand cherokee (there is far more margin in a grand cherokee) and I had preferred the wrangler but wanted the comparison for my final decision. I was shocked, aggravated and pretty much any other adjective of frustration you can think of when I saw these numbers. At the time, my KBB ROUGH trade value on my flawless car was $14,000. They offered me $9,500. I work in the automotive industry and feel terrible for anyone that would have accepted this number. He told me that my car didn't qualify for a clean trade value because of the mileage. That isn't how KBB works. They will value your car at the current mileage and classify the trade value based on the physical condition, not the odometer. I laughed and told them no thank you and said we were finished. They tried to pull the payment card (for those who haven't purchased many cars, NEVER let them convince you based on the payment, get the bottom line. Next thing you know you're financing at a slightly affordable payment for 120 months or something ridiculous). I told them I wasn't walking off the lot with $10,000 in negative equity to let them make a $20,000 profit off of me between the value of both cars. They wouldn't let us leave and held my car keys hostage while he kept pushing payment options at us. Luckily with the event on-site, there was a police officer and I told them if they didn't bring my keys immediately, I would be walking right to that officer for assistance. We left and will NEVER return, regardless of what they have in stock. I do not recommend anyone go here to purchase a vehicle. Based on the other reviews, it doesn't sound like anyone should go here for service either. They say they are the number one jeep dealership but the 1.5 star rating begs to differ.
