  • I was pleasantly surprised by this place, since expectations were low for what I thought was" just another casino cafe." Luckily since Grand Lux is in the Grand Canal Shoppes of the Venetian, there's no fee to park. Taking Yelp's suggestions, y boyfriend and I made sure to come during Happy Hour. $6 appetizers and drinks! Appetizers were much larger in size than we had expected. We got the Buffalo chicken egg rolls and fried spring rolls. These and the bread offered to us was already enough to fill us up. We still had two more plates of pasta coming our way- garlic Parmesan and a lemon chicken piccata. Each was delicious!! This place reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory, but maybe even better. Prices were good for a casino, and service from our waiter Pierre was amazing. He made useful suggestions and was kind enough to look for us at the slot machines outside the restaurant when we forgot our credit card on the table. Nice place to come for a celebration- or just happy hour :-)
