  • Although I got my piercing done in the South Side (where they were extremely nice and the facilities were very clean), I had an amazing phone experience with a woman at Hot Rod in Oakland. I got my nose pierced about a month ago and while it was healing, I got a very bad cold. The hole was very irritated and started bleeding a lot; I was also forming a small bump above the ring. After calling the SS location multiple times with no one answering, I called Oakland. The person I spoke to was incredibly helpful and kind. I was so worried that I would need to take the ring out or have it redone, but this woman assured me that everything was fine and really calmed me down. After following her advice, my piercing stopped bleeding and a few days later the bump went away completely. My nose looks so much better and I am pleased as punch. I love that they have such a kind, knowledgable staff in addition to their awesome facilities. I will definitely be coming back to Hot Rod for all of my future piercings!
