  • My wife and I have eaten at over 25 Thai restaurants in the last 20 years and our former favorite was Saladang in Pasadena CA. By a wonderful chance we found a new favorite in Pete's, while in Phoenix for the Joyce Meyer conference. I didn't have very high hopes...after all who would expect GOURMET Thai delicacies in Phoenix??? It was a blessing from above, Pete is a culinary genius, there's no other way to put it! The Rad Nah and Pad Thai were by far the tastiest, mouth watering dishes I've ever had. To top it all off we had the best waiter ever. Not only did Robert know the menu intimately, but he was able to recommend dishes and gave us perfect advice on the "heat" of the dish. Robert assured us that there is no better Thai food, even in Thailand, where he'd traveled numerous times. I signed up for Yelp so I could write this review...this restaurant is THAT GOOD! I can't wait until Joyce's conference next year...we'll come to Pete's twice on that trip!
