| - Several months ago, transported my 56 Chevy to Speed and Sports for brake issue diagnosis and repair, front end alignment, and carb adjustment. Was billed over $1,200.00. After having car transported back home, found Carb adjustment and alignment satisfactory, but after being in the shop for four days, brake issue was not resolved. Was charged $65 for a Willwood brake line pressure adjuster. Adjuster was plumbed into a new line which ran to the rear of car, was not connected to master cylinder, nor a rear wheel cylinder but capped off at the rear. The line served no purpose, was unsightly lashed to proportioning valve bracket, but l was charged for installation and parts. Invoice stated brake issue was improved but not "100% perfect"!??" There was no improvement whatsoever! Maybe l was in the right place at the wrong time as Speed and Sports was a vendor at the fall Good Guys show and may have become distracted with preparations for the show.
