  • We were paying $150 a month for cable with rates creeping up each year. We are now paying $70 a month with DirecTV. You do the math. That's a savings of, like, $25,000 a year or something. When we asked Cox if they could drop their rates, they said no. When we later called to cancel, they literally hung up on us. Nice. I'll never sign up with them again, no matter what. Their demise as a company is coming and it will be welcomed by millions. Suck it, Cox.
