  • Let me first start by admitting that I am a 37 year old woman who used to be deathly afraid of the dentist-about a year and a half ago we were looking for a dentist for myself and my husband and a close friend referred us to Dr. Mismas. What a dream come true she is. Dr. Mismas and her staff are very warm and welcoming and just on their game. I came in without insurance and they offer an in house dental plan that matches other private insurance plans and in some cases beats private insurance plans.I was sold and so relieved!!! You pay upfront for the plan which was very inexpensive and off to the chair you go! I had a cavity and two wisdom teeth that needed to come out and I was very scared because of all the hype about sedation when pulling wisdom teeth. Well some numbing and some more numbing, a set of earphones and before I knew it the wisdom teeth were out and my cavity was filled. I was so happy lol and relieved not one tear shed and I walked out with a chubby smile and such relief !!! (And a list of does and donts and some meds to help prevent infection of course) Since then I've been back for two cleanings, and in a couple days some more serious work. Root canal etc...I. AM nervous but I am not scared because I know I'm in good hands with Dr.Mismas! If I could give her 10 stars I would because 5 stars doesn't do her and her staff justice! She is becoming extremly well known around town so i would advise getting an appointment today!!! I will be keeping her as my dentist even when we move to NC as we have family we will be visiting at least twice a year so I'll be visiting her for my cleanings as well, shes just a rare breed and has found a staff that compliments her work!!we need more dentists like her !!!
