  • My green cheek conure past away and I have a big emptiness in my heart, I been looking for another one to help me heal from my lost and to give all the love I have to offer. I purchased my green cheek at petsmart for $345, at this time petsmart doesn't have any so I been looking all over town. I found "for the birds" store and they don't have green cheeks either but a beautiful cockatoo got my attention, I stared asking questions about the price of the cage (the one I have is small for a cockatoo), food, etc. the lady working at the store made me feel like I couldn't afford a $900 bird and didn't really care about asking me questions or trying to talk to me about the birds. Just because I went in to her store looking for a small bird (their green cheeks are $195) that doesn't mean I can't fall in love with another type of bird. I know how much birds cost and I was willing to pay any price given if I felt like I had the right bird for my family and I. (Other than bad customer service the store is clean and their birds seem to be tame) Their lost... I went to another store and purchased a beautiful $700 bird.
