| - OK. I'm sort of on the fence with this place. On one hand, the services I have received have been really good. And the prices are even better. On the other hand, the receptionist never gives correct information. I called to make an appointment to have sclerotherapy on my legs recently. She booked the appointment and told me they would do both legs top to bottom and completely. She said nothing about purchasing compression hose for the appointment, but luckily after reading up on RealSelf, I decided to go ahead and purchase some hose before my appointment just in case. When I got to the appointment, they asked me if I happened to bring hose. They acted relieved when I had them in my purse as if this had happened before. Then they proceeded to only treat the lower half of my legs and not completely. I think they either work for a certain amount of time, or if the syringe runs out then they are just done. But in any case she did not clarify that and I asked her if I would need to come back to have the upper legs done. She said yes. I didn't want to make an issue out of things because there were five people in the class she was teaching and it didn't seem appropriate at the time. Fair enough. The prices so cheap that it makes sense, but they should train their front desk about what the service really includes. I would have booked another session for my upper legs that day had I known. That evening I also had an appointment for photo facials on my face, décolleté, and upper arms. Once again, nobody at the front desk told me anything about not having self tanner on before I came in. So they basically could not do the service on my chest and arms. I was frustrated because I had hired a babysitter, driven all the way from Peoria, and planned for this well in advance. There's just not a lot of consideration for my time or money. My advice is to ask the receptionist 100 questions before you book your appointment and hope that they are giving you correct information. I have now scheduled another appointment in April because they didn't have anything available sooner for my legs. I'm hoping to get in next week for the rest of my photo facials assuming I can find a babysitter. This happened one other time for a prior service. They mentioned nothing about having had skin cancer before booking my appointment. I went all the way in there and they turned me away when I found out I had had skin cancer several months prior. It would have been nice to have been asked that question before wasting half of my day.
