  • Never had I expect to receive an outstanding, relaxing spa treatment than in the greater Cleveland area! Always yearning for the ideal spa experience (and naturally assuming it would be in my backyard in NYC), I was delighted to receive such experience at Spa West. After getting whipped around with the crazy roller coasters in Cedar Point, my girlfriend and I decided on Spa West the next following day since it was on our way to Cleveland and that they thankfully had an opening for a couples massage therapy with a subsequent facial. Parking was no problem, and the facility is very clean with beautiful interior decorations. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist (can't remember her name) who then directed us to our lockers and spa waiting room. The waiting room was very comfy and had various beverages and snacks for us to enjoy while we waited for our massage therapists. After waiting for just a few minutes, our massage therapists then introduced themselves and led us to a nice spacious treatment room. The mats were comfortable and the music was quite soothing. We then received our 1-hr massage which felt like heaven! Never knew I was that tight and rigid, but Angela (my therapist) did an amazing job softening my muscles and working on my fibrous knots. After our massage, I was then introduced to Teresa, a facial skin esthetician. She was very knowlegeable and friendly, and answered all my questions regarding facial skin care. She also did an amazing job in which I noticed my face looking very relaxed and a bit "younger" than before! As my first ever spa experience, I was very impressed with Spa West (not that it really matters, but the facility is huge!, but still has the cozy, intimate feeling) and feel that I would need to return here to continue receiving such wonderful treatment. I highly recommend this spa to all friends, neighbors, and strangers, and especially Angela (massage therapist) and Teresa (facial skin esthetician).
