| - Small shop with big flavor. What makes Udder Delights Chocolate Milk Shake so delicious?
The first time I ordered a chocolate shake from Chef Jennifer and Farmer Casey (August 20, 2010) they asked me, "How is it, what do you think" I replied, "It is good!" I could tell by the look on their faces I missed something. Well, for me I was more engaged in the conversation with them (very friendly and passionate about their work) than the full experience of the milkshake. So, I returned two days later and here is what I can now say about Udder Delights Chocolate Shake with Whipped cream topping, did I mention the whipped cream is homemade on site? Okay then.
I took into account the following criteria for this review. 1) Consistency 2) Chocolate flavor 3) Sweetness; I prefer a very thick milkshake so much so one is not able to utilize a standard straw, the chocolate should be nutty not too overbearing not too sweet or grainy.
The consistency was perfect, just thick enough to give your cheeks a good work out, no spoon required as they provide a boba type straw. The shake was hinted with the exact amount of chocolate flavor, which will keep the straw in your mouth until you finish the milkshake, then torture you with cravings the next few weeks, most likely while you are traveling and no other chocolate shake will satisfy you.
This chocolate shake was the perfect blend of ice cream, chocolate and sweetness, not grainy or too sweet, the perfect combination of ingredients required to tantalize your taste buds. OH, do not forget to have it topped with the home made whipped cream - it would be like leaving the caramelized topping off of crème brulee, it would be sinful to exclude it.
As my inaugural review, Udder Delights, Chef Jennifer and Farmer Casey created a smooth, richly flavored, subtlety sweet decadent nutty chocolate milkshake. And in my opinion, is THE BEST CHOCOLATE SHAKE I have had to date. (Yes, I did sample other shakes so that I had a point of reference). Keep up the great work Udder Delights!!!!
