  • This was an extremely disappointing stay. There were things that I would have overlooked and not complained about but now that I am motivated to write a review, I will mention them. I paid over $200 for a basic, not redone hotel room in mid January. There were no basics in the room, no coffee pot, no shower cap, no cotton balls, no q-tips, none of the little things. The check in process seemed like it would be smooth and easy but it ended up being long and confusing. This was not something I was going to complain about but just something to remember for the next time. What I did complain about was the half filled glass of liquid in the bathroom that had a little white cap on it indicating that it was clean & the large band-aid on the floor. I sent a message via Facebook to the hotel at 8 am with accompanying photos and was told that the Front Desk Management team was notified and someone would be in contact soon. I never received a cell message, email or Facebook message. What I did recieve was a message timestamped for 2pm on my hotel room phone saying that the housekeeper came by and that I had a do not disturb sign on my door. Because I was in a conference all day, I did not receive this message until I returned to my room after dinner, at this point I was tired and ready for bed and did not want to wait up for a housekeeper to come by. I sent them another Facebook message and told them that I did not feel that I should be paying full price for a room that was not what I had paid for. It made me question as to whether the sheets were actually changed and my overall discomfort of being in a room where obviously dirty things and biohazards were so overlooked made for an uncomfortable stay. They said that they would forward the request to Management. I never heard from them so I sent a follow up message and was told then told that I needed to email them and was provided an email address. I emailed, reexplained the situation, provided photos as before and received an auto-confirmation saying they would respond in 3 days. They did not respond. I sent another email again, letting them know that I was trying to be fair and to have them make it right before I put up a review and still have not heard back. I am now posting my review and hope that the Management at the Paris hotel has the decency to read this review and do something about it. They should be ashamed and I am sure that they would not want to pay $246 a night for a hotel room that had a biohazard on the floor and a "clean" glass with half filled liquid in it in the bathroom.
