Nothing bad happened but I wasn't majorly impressed either. The menu and ambiance are pretty generic. Just seems like a very average place!
I tried the Great Grains, which was a bowl of 7 grains (or you can choose oatmeal) topped with berries, bananas, and nuts with a side of brown sugar and milk. The grains looked and tasted pretty much like oatmeal and were lacking any exciting flavor. I will say, the portion size was fairly large and this meal was only $4.95. However, $1.95 for coffee seems a bit excessive. Isn't that, like, more than Starbucks charges for basic coffee?
I know I'm always complaining about places that give disgustingly huge, unhealthy portions, but my friend's 3-egg omelet seemed a bit small compared to omelets at other places. One plus I noticed was that they only charge .50 to sub egg whites for the egg dishes.
