| - The golf portion of this place is fun and the only aspect that brings people back.
The rest of your experience at Top Golf will have you looking for the exit and other options.
Wait times are long, service is slow, customer service is entirely absent.
Been here a few times and it's always the same. Last night we had a group of 8, ordering drinks/apps/desserts, all while in our 1st hour of play when all of a sudden our waitress (who wasn't even sure how to ring in my beer or if they even had it when I could see the tap handle from where we were) comes up and informs us that our time is up and we need to clear out or pay for another hour. At this point we still don't even have our nachos which we ordered at the start of the hour. We tell her we are still waiting on food and she says ok and goes to talk to who I assume is a floor manager of sorts. When she walks away we see that we still have more than 12 minutes left on our first hour. We decide not to do another hour (they were out of the dessert we wanted, the food was taking forever (on a cold Monday night in March) and the service was lacking to put it nicely) and the server and manager immediately start to try and clear our table. We tell them that we still don't have all our food, which we have already paid for at this point (and the bills were wrong, so wrong we didn't even say anything because it would have taken another 20 minutes for them to try and wrap their heads around that brain teaser) and they kind of leave us alone for a bit. This whole time is still within our hour of gameplay as the clock is still ticking down on the computer screen...
Our second choice of dessert finally comes out (s'mores cookies, basically some chips ahoy soft bake cookies sandwiching a marshmallow and drizzled with Hershey's chocolate sauce, not worth the money or the 30 minute wait time, not even sure how that's possible) and they immediately start to buss the table again. They make me and my girlfriend feel completely unwelcome as they whirl around us trying to clean up her beer which wasn't empty and the dessert plates on the table which we just received.
Everyone in our group is in the service industry (cooks and servers) so we know the deal. The level of service and quality of most of the food at Topgolf is on par with fast food restaurants, which is kind of an insult to Chik-fil-a.
Go for the golf if you go at all.
