  • Is upscale sports bar the new thing? As someone who likes to get down and dirty and enjoy some good wings and beer when watching sports, Walrus' atmosphere was...confusing. And as a self proclaimed beer snob (I'm from Colorado), the beer selection was disappointing. We came here after the beer bar we originally wanted to go to was closed for a private event. The place was hoppin' when we arrived around 9pm on Saturday. The decor was classy, minus the large TVs aligning the bar. It was loud and hard to hold a conversation. The surprising positive was the panna cotta dessert, it was creamy and oh so delicious. I can see how Walrus would be a nice place for happy hour after work, but probably would not be on the top of my list when visiting Toronto.
