Came here on a Sun evening before my usual 6PM mtg and found it strangely quiet, but still quite busy as orders were being filled and dispatched. An entire roast suckling pig was soon on display for customer pickup. This is indeed where this restaurant shines: Cantonese siu laap -- roast meats -- usually in pork and duck varieties, but you'll also find chicken and occasionally cuttlefish too. Only saw pork and duck here in various combos. Had the rice plate combo with foh yuk, roast pork belly with the crackling skin, and cha siu, which is the red, slightly sweet glazed roast pork loin, hopefully with some char on it. Absolutely outstanding. The "five heavenly layers" that make up a good piece of roast pork belly were all present, the skin was cracklingly crisp, and the slight sweet char on the cha siu provided a nice contrast of textures and flavors. Spicy salt & pepper squid came with a breading that didn't appeal to me (I like cornstarch instead) but flavors were what I expected. Great meal.
