  • Mulligans tavern is on of my all time favorite local bars. As the name implies it's a sports bar. It get's pretty busy on game days, but usually pretty casual and friendly. They have a nice selection of domestics as well as imports. This is a sports bar, not a cocktail bar however. The food is really something I get at least once a week. The ruebens, turkey club, and burgers are all safe bets here. They also have real onion rings. In the summer they have outdoor seating which is always nice. I've personally been treated nicely by all the servers here. This place will always be on the top of my list for food, and an occasional beer. The atmosphere is fantastic. Be aware though, this is bar food- but bar food at it's best.
