  • Do not work with this company! My situation was the same as some of the other reviewers. 2-10 Home Warranty sent this company to my house. The heating element could have been replaced to fix the WH that wasn't producing hot water. But in stead, they saw a little very normal amount of corrosion and said the WH needed to replaced. That was the first indication of a shady operation. Additionally, there was a little bit of a dried water stain on the platform so they pulled the 'rebuild the platform and replace the sheet rock'. Really?! My husband stood on the platform, jumped up and down and it was as solid as a rock. The dried water mark was a good foot away from the sheet rock wall so why would that need to be replaced. They said they mentioned this to me and gave me a business card for a restoration company yet they had not; they only told me a few days later on the day they were to deliver the new WH. The restoration company they said they told me about, must be the company they get the kick back from. They also removed the water heater and left it out in the yard without asking me for permission, making it hard for me to do my own repair of replacing the heating element. So I called 2-10 back, told them the story and they sent a different plumbing company out. Its been 6 days with no hot water so the jury is still out on the second plumbing company. But I've requested 2-10 to remove 1st Choice from their approved contractor list right away.
