I was debating between giving the baymont 2 or 3 stars - in the end I give them a three as its a nice newly constructed hotel . The pluses are offset by many minuses though - for example it has a nice indoor pool, but it is too cold and the staff knows it as so many people complain , and they say they can't make it hotter due to health regulations . I don't believe this as other hotel pools are Warmer. No hot tub . The rooms are nice but the walls are paper thin and you hear your neighbor. We had the rudest neighbor in room 315 from November 4-7 who would get up at 7am and get on his speaker phone and start talking loudly for hours. This rude guest isn't the hotels fault but the lack of sound proofing is . The hotel is on the strip but at the far south end a couple miles past Mandalay bay. Great if you want to be away from the action but a minus if you want to walk to stuff . Super easy to park unlike the major casinos where parking and getting to your room can take 20 minutes. I probably would not actively seek out this hotel but if it showed up as a low priced option on high demand days I would not hesitate to select it again
