| - So many moons ago, all my friends told me to try this restaurant out. It took me almost a year to make it there.
On Friday, I called at 7:30 p.m. for a reservation, the hostess said 8:45 p.m., I was fine with that since it was short notice. I knew I was going to be early, so I already knew I would have a wait.
I arrived about 8:10 p.m., checked in, and the hostess, took us right back to a table for two.
Alycia was our server, and she was very attentive to our needs. As we both were first timers she went through the basics of the menu for us. Gave us a little history lesson about the restaurant.
I ordered the double pork on the bone with mash potatoes. (pictures below), and my friend ordered the Kitchen Sink(also pictured below).
Alycia made it a point to run through the temperature process for me on the pork chops since the closer to the bone will be different.
Two nonalcoholic drinks, and refilled water until we could float.
The food came out hot and fresh. The pork was cooked exactly the way she said it would come out. Very minimal fat and the mash potatoes were very tasty.
The Kitchen Sink was mixed seafood in a red sauce with a kick. My friend loves spicy food and she loved the sauce and meal. Her biggest concern was some of the shell based food had small broken shells throughout the sauce which you just need to watch for.
At the of our stay, Val came over to check in on us. Pleasant and personable. She also with some prompting gave us the back story of the restaurant.
The total was 95.00 for two.
