  • I absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Sarafina! When I lived in NYC I used to wear my hair braided all the time. It has been over 10 years since I had it done though, and I quickly found that finding someone to do the braids I like (invisible braids) in Arizona, on my thin, slippery, short, bleach blonde hair was not an easy task. I asked friends for recommendations, but had a terrible time getting anyone to agree to braid my hair for a decent price. Some places were charging over 6 times as much as I paid in NYC, and others decided not to return my calls or messages after asking for a picture to see what my natural hair looked like. So I turned to Yelp! I am so thankful that I did. All of the positive reviews I read about Sarafina were 100% accurate. Her pricing was competitive and fair, the braids are perfect, and on top of it all, she got them done in half the time I expected. Not to mention she is one of the most kind, friendly, and easy-to-talk-to people I have ever met- very important when you are spending that many hours with someone you don't know. I couldn't be happier with the finished product and of course I have already booked my next appointment. I feel like a million bucks thanks to Sarafina!
