I wanted to eat off the strip, partly to reign in the cost of a decent meal and partly to actually get a decent meal that was not ladened with fried foods. We had noticed the Jannat while running errands earlier in the day, and while we don't often partake of Indian food and actually know very little about it we very much enjoy it.
It was clearly a family restaurant. The owner took our order, explaining what the various foods were and how they were prepared. We ordered the navratan (?) Korma and following their recommendation for a couple non-Indian palates also ordered the chicken Tonka masala. Both were lovely, delicately spiced and of the perfect quantity.
Considering its proximity to the Worldmark we like to frequent, it will be a do over for us.
