The show is basically for those aged late 50 and up. If you are younger than that, at least it is cheap and you get a free drink. To make the most of it, don't get a cocktail because they are watered down. Get a glass of wine or a beer instead. His show isn't going to wow you, but there were a decent number of people laughing at his jokes.
The odd thing (that I hope he changes) is that he started complaining about the waitress taking drink orders during the show. Seemed like he couldn't just take it astride; most importantly, it was uncomfortable for the audience. He needs to remember that some people actually needed the alcohol to loosen up and laugh at his jokes. Gordie also didn't seem to realize one drink came with each show ticket. He actually said something like "Drink purchases can maybe pay for the spotlights some day, but it slows down the show." Well, buddy, the drinks are actually attached to the ticket as a way to get people in in the first place.
