Recent stay at Delano was decent. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I really appreciate the 1.5 bath when traveling with friends. Technology was not up to Aria level with automated curtains or light switches, but there were plenty of plugs and even some USB ports for your charging convenience. The fitness center was nice - had free weights and even had a shower facility. Daily resort fee was just shy of $40 per night. The one downside to Delano is that it does not have direct access to Mandalay Bay's pool complex - it requires you to walk clear across the casino floor to get to the Mandalay Bay room elevators. The hotel itself is located on the far southern end of the strip so it isn't really in the center of the action. Luckily there is a free tram from Mandalay Bay to Excalibur that helps you get closer to the rest of the strip.
Delano itself is tucked away in the Mandalay Bay complex, and is a bit removed from the casino floor. They've instituted pay parking ($10/day) now so be sure to bring your paper ticket to the front desk so that they can link it to your room key card. You can use your room key to exit the structure and to park at any other MGM Resort on the strip (included in the daily parking fee).
