| - I decided to come here on Mothers Day because a) I am a mother, and b) I like to eat food. Lots of food. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't really pleased, either. The price was jacked up for the "holiday" and I think I paid $15 for the buffet, per person, including two preteens, who just ate garlic bread and sugar buns. There is a ton of food here, but a lot of it is weird cheesy seafood casseroles, gloppy Americanized dishes, and questionable crab dishes.
I ended up eating a lot of breaded shrimp, and some fried rice--the basics.
I might come here again if I have the hankering to mindlessly eat a large quantity of food, and I don't care much about the quality. Sometimes that's the mood I'm in. But if I'm looking for a Chinese buffet, I won't be going here. Too expensive, and not enough truly good or delicious items on the buffet.
