rev:text	I go in to get my lady a spa package. Two and a half hours of pampering for a lovely woman that deserves to be treated like a queen. I go in to book it and they tell me about there membership. I love it! My Lady can get her tired muscles a massage at least once a month. I sign up on the spot and set up the full pampering day on top of it. Pay for the membership in advance and I'm ready to spoil my queen. Then the shoe drops!!! I talk to the spa manager Ana. I let her know that my lady isn't comfortable with a male masseuse so it would need to be a female. she says no problem, how is Sunday at 12:30. This was Friday. Sounds great. I let my queen know and she even calls Ana for her to explain the treatments and to tell her how the membership works. After that phone call my lady is excited to go. Later on that Friday evening she gets a call from Ana asking her to call her back. No explanation, just call her back. She tried and got no answer, so on with planning our Sunday around my lady spending the afternoon at the spa. Sunday rolls around and she gets to the spa only to be told that the ONLY FEMALE MASSEUSE that the employ has hurt herself and that if she wants the massage that it will have to be by a male. There was no call left on the voicemail at all over the two days that they had to fix this situation letting us know that there would be no female masseuse on staff so that we could plan accordingly. They were perfectly happy allowing us to do what we needed to do to make this 12:30 appointment that they knew 2 days prior was not going to happen! When asked when they would be able to accommodate the package that I paid for and they promised to provide I was told that it would be at least 2 weeks! Needless to say I canceled the appointment and demanded a full refund for the spa package and the membership that I paid for in full. I was told that I would have to talk to Ana to take care of that and that she would be off till Tuesday!!!! They locked up my money on Friday for a service that they knew they could not provide and now on Sunday I am being told that Ana will "HOPEFULLY" call me back before Tuesday! Ritual Spa & Salon completely ruined what should have been a beautiful day for a mother, a grandmother, a hard worker and my reason for smiling everyday. I thought I was doing a wonderful thing for the love of my life and thanks to Ritual Spa & Salon all this day turned out to be was frustration and disappointment. If you really want to pamper that special someone or even just yourself. trust me and look elsewhere. This salon has zero respect for you, your time, your effort or your money. All these reviews I read about how great it was may very well be true IF they see fit to provide you with the service you are paying for but when you are thinking of using this salon, please, think of my situation. Think about the look of disappointment on her face if they do the same to you. Giving this salon even the one star is a travesty. That would give the perception that they did ANYTHING right. Really...... they can leave a voicemail asking to be called back but they cant leave a voicemail telling you about the fact that they cant provide the service?!?!?!? Unprofessional to say the least.
