I walked in and thought to myself wow this is posh. There wish great original artwork on the walls and super comfortable chairs. It has a larger dining room and an available private room. I got there at 6:30pm on a Monday and there were a few tables taken. When we left at 8pm it was perfectly full. Amazingly it never got so loud I had to tell across the table!!!
But enough about the great space. The food is absolutely delicious. I got the pork belly sliders. They are $12 for 2 so a little pricey but certainly not your basic street food. They were exceptional and on home made tortilla! The yucca fries are battered so this was unusual but not at all unwelcome! My dining companion got the Cuban
She finished it without chance of offering. It come with a HUGE mountain of fries and pineapple catchup. A bold move for a Pittsburgh restaurant.
The rum cocktails are both good. The mojito royale is as expected and right. I got the Island Spice and the best way to describe it is "healthy" it's more pickle than cucumber but very good.
Don't forget to try the flan!
