Went here on a Friday a few weeks ago with our kids, my brother, and my husband's brother and his wife. Service was slow but food was AMAZING and drinks were veeeery good. That Lisa's Love Lotion... I could drink that every day... probably twice a day. It's sweet and creamy and fruity... de-li-cious. And the mojitos--it's dangerously good. As in, you could drink multiple glasses of it because the flavors go so well and it isn't harsh at all and before you know it you're falling off your seat. Not like that happened to us. I'm just saying.
Anyway, we tried many dishes since there were so many of us. Some of the highlights: the beef skewers appetizer was full of flavor. So were the fried prawns. If you're looking for a way to save a bit of money (since the dishes are expensive here) order an appetizer or two rather than an entree. As for the entree highlights the catfish was light but had great flavor. And the steak had a good amount of fat to give flavor but it wasn't overly greasy, either. Last time we came here I ordered the mero de Miami and unfortunately I felt that it was a little overcooked--it was fairly dry at the ends.
All in all, I think that Jolly Bob's redeemed itself since our first visit. I still think that service could improve and that the prices could go down a bit. But otherwise, we were pretty darn happy with our experience there this past time.
