| - Okay Diversity, let me reiterate how ridiculous you are for wasting my damn time tonight.
Here's how it went:
My 17 year old daughter called prior to us coming in. She inquired about a nose piercing and what she would need. She was told a parent for the paperwork and that was all. So we came with just that, me.
Apparently she wasn't given proper information because when we got here we were asked for her photo id. She didn't have one on her, seeing as she was not told to bring one, but we gladly obliged and went back home to get. As we left, I confirmed, "just identification correct and a school id will work?" And both females responded with a yes.
We return with the id and we were sent to do paperwork, mind you they didn't even remember us despite the fact we were there just 5 minutes ago (that's besides the point though). So, we go to do the paperwork and put our ids on the counter. The lady looks at us and says, "your last names aren't the same, where is her birth certificate?" I proceed to say, excuse me? I was told we needed ids so that's what we came back with. She tells us to follow her and takes us back to the other counter where 3 different people all proceed to talk at once saying we need to have a birth certificate, it's for the health department, it's a requirement and yada yada yada. I get it, procedure. I'm not trying to get anyone shut down. But what wasn't appreciated was the fact they didn't have their shit together causing us to leave once and come back, only to be told yet again we needed something else.
To add further insult another employee who was standing at the counter eating decided to give his input and chimed in with "you don't have the same last names? You didn't tell us that?" Okay moron, like I told you then I'll tell you now because I'm sure you are reading...
1) It's not my job to tell you anything!
You work and run an establishment, so you tell me what I need to bring and I'll show up prepared! It's not my job to coerce these things out of you, especially if it deals with the damn health department I would think requirements that cover your ass would be a priority. On that note, you tell me that it's mandatory for our ids to have the same last name and IF NOT then we will need a birth certificate.
2) In what f@#$ing perfect world do you live in where every child has their mother's last name?As I said then, don't assume anything. You looked at me like a damn crazy person all because we didn't share a last name? Have you heard of women divorcing and remarrying? Or how about women who aren't married, but decide to have their children carry their father's last name? I could go on and on to further prove how stupid your reaction was, but it's pointless because you are clearly an ignorant a-hole for judging and making those remarks to begin with.
Seriously, I've gone on far too long about this SHIT experience and wish there was a zero star rating. I should've known better, below average pricing equals below average service! I'll gladly go elsewhere and pay an extra $20 (on top of what you charge) and get great service from a reputable tattoo shop that isn't filled with naughty ass kids (little 2 toddlers in diapers mind you) running all over the damn place and hanging out in the tattoo area. The end.
