LOUD
LOUD
OH MY GOD THE MUSIC IS GODDMN FKING LOUD HERE
IT IS ONLY A FEW DECIBELS BELOW THE LEVEL IN A CLUB
THEN THE PEOPLE AROUND US HAVE TO HOLLER TO HEAR EACH OTHER AND IT'S EVEN NOISIER
OH MY GOD WILL YOU TURN DOWN THE FKING VOLUME ON THAT MUSIC?
oh yeah, the food. Early dinner on a Sunday. The Hannah's Field salad, the greens were very fresh and crisp but small portion. Wife ordered the Raspberry Chicken salad; also small. The chicken salad part of the salad was amazing. The raspberry dressing was unbelievably sour and I like tart; this was too tart even for me. Maybe you're supposed to mix it all together to take the edge off the very sour raspberry dressing? (The greens are laid out on a rectangular dish separately from the chicken salad.) Our other dining companion ordered the Tuscan Tuna salad panino. I found myself envying those who had selected the panini instead of salad; it seemed more filling than the meager portions those of us who chose salad were given. The salted caramel sundae was quite good and enough for two; it comes with a tall shot glass filled to the rim with caramel sauce, a very generous amount, to drizzle over the tasty vanilla bean ice cream. Service was competent if perhaps a little too attentive; we could have done with two fewer visits by the waiter. He also didn't need to ask me if I needed anything on one visit; when the empty glass of iced tea is sitting right in front of me and in front of you, do you really need to ask me if I need anything? How about starting with asking me if I want more iced tea?
DID I MENTION HOW LOUD THE MUSIC IN THIS PLACE IS? I was annoyed throughout our meal at how I had to strain to hear the conversation. Never going back, solely for this reason.
