| - HORRIBLE! I only needed some antibiotics for an inflamed tooth and the dentist insisted I needed to have the tooth extracted. I had the same problem a year ago and he reluctantly prescribed the antibiotic, but boy did he not want to. Why? Because if he extracted the tooth, I would immediately have to have either a bridge, implants or something costly in order to chew! Well, the problem came back after a year, I took off work to make a special trip to get some antibiotics and once again he tried very hard to talk me out of it and said the tooth needed to come out, until I finally said if you don't want to give me the prescription I'll go to another dentist. He said fine, I'm not writing it. I left and sat in my car, called my old dentist, they said come in, I told him the story, he took an x-ray and said "You have some bone loss, but I'm all for anyone wanting to save their teeth!" He wrote the prescription - no problem. I only changed dentists because I moved and Crossroads was convenient. My dentist's name is Dr. Danny Salem in Chandler. Does great work. A couple of years ago, Dr. Salem put a slight filler on one of my teeth that was receding and it was so professionally done you still can't see that it's there. I had Crossroads do the same thing to another tooth, and the process he and his assistant went through to do it was unbelievable! The dentist was uncomfortable because he didn't know what he was doing. I told him I didn't have that experience with my old dentist, which only took him a few minutes, and if he wasn't sure what he was doing to just leave it alone. He was relieved and didn't finish it, but yet they charged a hefty fee for that botched up job! I can still feel it in my tooth. If Crossroads tells you need something, you'd better get a second opinion. Those guys are out for your money and I wouldn't trust their skills!
