  • Black Dog is simply the best BBQ you will ever eat in Illinois. Period. Everything is amazing. I have never had better BBQ in my life and I doubt that I will. My personal favorites: burnt ends, brisket, chicken sandwich, pit beans, sweet potato fries. Everything has a smokey taste to it, making it so authentic. Additionally, they have many kinds of BBQ sauces to choose from and even offer a BBQ sauce platter so you can try all of them. My personal favorite is the Texas Sauce. It's spicy, but not too spicy, and very strong and thick. I love it! Although the lines are long, it is still an efficient system and texts you when your table is about to be ready. It's a great system! The staff is efficient and well trained. Love this place!!!!
