This place is allright. Whenver I'm looking for a particularly hard to find ingredient for some random "authentic" asian recipe I've pulled off the internet, I go here first.
Problem is EVERYTHING is hard to find, so you have to invest some time in getting to know the layout of this place. So far, it's taken me about 5 very lengthy visits, patrolling the aisles in search of a specific paste, sauce, spice...ugh. And NEVERMIND asking the staff for help..the blank stares you get from them are beyond humiliating.
Still, in spite of the repeated humiliation of being treated like a whitey who's intruding into some sacred food territory, I return time and again in search of the next "elusive" ingredient not stocked at my local Loblaw or Sobey's.
Now, if they could only do something about the smell! Seriously!
