  • I cannot speak highly enough of Kenny, Brent and all the folks at this awesome repair shop! I brought my Baja 252 Islander with a 496ci big block in Saturday June 27th with a horrible grinding sound coming from the starter. Knowing at least the starter was bad, I figured the ring gear on the flywheel was bad too. I told them no rush on the repair as I had no plans to head out to the lake for the holiday weekend and I figured it was going to be expensive as hell. While Brent was writing down my information, Kenny said he'd start on it Monday morning June 29th and it would probably be done by the next day. Lo and behold, I got a call from Brent at 12:30 pm on Monday saying the boat was done! I almost dropped the phone in shock! The crew started at 5am, pulled the engine, found the starter to be shot and the ring gear had no damage! While the engine was out, they repaired a couple of other things including the raw water pump (I'd asked them to do so if the engine had to come out.) Bottom line, I would recommend Aqua Marine to anyone in need of boat repair! With such a quick turnaround and at a price far less than I expected, I will not take my boat anywhere else!
