  • Mike's place is interesting. Never been to a shop quite like it. There must be a dozen chairs in a row, every one of them full, at least today at mid-day they were. One thing you'll notice with all the barbers both male and female - they're all meticulous. No rushing through hair cuts here. Today was my second time at Mike's and with a new barber (for me). Javier...the man is an artist. My chair was positioned such that I couldn't see in the mirror facing me - obstructed by a light switch so hung short on the wall. Javier kept trimming and trimming then more cutting...to where I started thinking, man what's left? Once finished it was like he'd carved a Picasso on my head. So precise, just right. Not exactly what I was expecting but pleased with the result for sure. He just knew what worked for me. I like that. Check out Mike's, and Javier for a great experience! Additional recommendations from latest experiences: I've had Jeff cut my hair a couple times with much success. He's an expert at his craft. Today I met with Sam. She did a great job and was enthusiastic about the detail in her work. I highly recommend Javier, Jeff and Sam. I'd say you can't go wrong with any of these skilled barbers.
