I am going thru my old reviews that are still sitting around as drafts and trying to finish them up by the end of the year. I actually went to this theater for the first time back in the summer of 2016 to see West Side Story. I was not overly optimistic about how good it would be in such a small theater that has no room for substantial sets or live music. However, I was blown away by the quality of the performance! The actors were all amazing singers and dancers. Even though you did have to use a little imagination for some scenes, with this style of theater (in the round) you really feel very close to the performance. I went with a group of women and we were all really impressed (and of course, smitten with Tony). It was a great time and an amazing value since the tickets were so cheap. Some of us went back again a few months later to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and that was really cool as well. Right now they are doing A Christmas Carol and I have heard that is also very fun to watch.
