  • It's a toss up! On one hand- the rooms are actually pretty nice and let's face it... You're either spending a hell of a lot of time there OR you're not. On the other hand- the rest of the hotel needs some work. Rant: -----------My initial thoughts were that they only cherry picked areas to renovate just for the sake of keeping the place buring and churning. The casino floor looks better, but the ventalation system remains that of IP. The registration desk is smack dab in the middle with no sign. The verge tower where the fitness center is, was a mess. The hallway smelt pretty bad. The parking structure = still a mess. There are three different districts designated by colors (blue, green and yellow/orange), but no indication of what is what. Signs would be helpful. I wish they would do something about the empty space towards the back of the hotel. So much potential and wasted space... Rave: ---------- I love the addition of the outdoor promenade, new restaurants and casino bar. I was also surprised at how nice the interior of the blue district's elevators (elevators close to the shops). I remember a pile up of guests waiting for one elevator to come down. Not the case now. Security guards in yellow T-shirts also were stationed in this area. The rooms and hallways were new in the blue distrct. No smelly hallways. Customer service was awesome! The woman who helped us at the front desk helped us score a room the Saturday of the Super Bowl without a reservation (I mistakenly booked the wrong dates). Also, she made sure to get the room ready for us within 10 minutes!
