  • I took my family here for lunch after a visit at Discovery Place Kids. Lupie's is an old stand-by in Charlotte, so I figured we were in for a treat. While the wait staff were friendly, they were also overworked (2 waitresses to the whole restaurant), so we didn't get much service-wise. My only hope was that we could count on some good food. I got the special of the day (fettuci alfredo), my wife got one of the quiches, and the kids got hot dogs w/ mac 'n chz. The ONLY things decent were the hot dogs and the lemons that came with our water! The kids didn't even eat the mac 'n chz!!! Our visit was pretty much a waste of $35. IF you do decide to go here, stick with burgers and chili.
