I visited on a Saturday at 4:30ish PM with my nephew to check it out...
Service: 4.5/5 We were greeted immediately upon entering and asked if we had any questions as we stepped up. Little overwhelming for a first time visit as they have so many options, but the young asian girl who was our cashier helped us out with descriptions and made us feel comfortable knowing we were rookies. She signed us up their loyalty program and gave us the immediate 10% discount which we really appreciated.
Drinky Drinks and Waffle Sticks: 4/5 I dig Earl Grey Tea so right off the bat I'm hitting up the Earl Grey Milk Tea and we went 16 oz. Nephew went with the Hokkaido Milk Tea at 12 oz. which he loved. For me, it was a little too sweet but I'm way older so that's probably why. lol My Early Grey Milk tea was tasty and the Boba worked well with it.
We tried the waffle sticks with the strawberry and nutella dips which were great compliments to the stick.
Value: 4.5/5 $5.50 for the 16 oz and $4.75 for the 12 oz Milk teas served to us in a cool bottle that you get to keep with a cork top, super cool. 3 waffle sticks at $4.50 plus .50 for each dip. Taking the bottle home adds to the value of the visit.
Ambiance: 4/5 Small place but seems bigger than it really is with how the furniture and decorations is setup. A couple tables for group seating, along with some couches, lounge chairs and a counter with chairs. Cool pieces of art, shelving and background music keeps it hip and chill. Lots of "snapping" and IG uploads were taking place when we were there. Ok, we were in on the action too. hehe
Summary: So glad there's a boba place less than 2 miles from my house. I don't have to restrict getting Boba to only when I'm down in the city. With that, I'll be back trying all the different milk teas and building the bottle collection as long as the drinks stay tasty. Enjoy...
