I enjoyed my first trip to Sticky Fingers in Charlotte. Our waiter was very friendly and although he was extremely busy he made time to be sure we were well served. Starting out with fried pickles, we were liking the place. The wait for our food took a long while but the company was nice and it was a busy night so I quickly forgive the wait. We got the ribs and BBQ pork and I wasn't disappointed. I loved the sauces they have on the table, you are not constantly begging for them to bring out sauce so that's a huge plus for them! The only thing keeping this from being a higher review is that I ordered an ice water and it tasted like some dish water mixed with melted plastic, with a hint of bleach. I always drink water but had to immediately buy a drink. The waiter pointed out that everyone complains about the water so I hate to say it but I wonder if that's a ploy to sell more drinks?!?! In many years of ordering water this was the worst I ever tasted. I had a nice date with me so didn't say a word but switched to a lemonade which was fine. I hate to bog down my review with such a rant about water but for many of us that's a big deal. If you go you should get a soda AND a water just to see how bad water can taste. I would return to Sticky Fingers as the food and ambiance was nice...I will sacrifice my water drinking for a soda next time...you win potentially greedy Sticky Fingers, you win.
