  • If I have to waste my calories on something it would have to be Prairie Girls Cupcakes. This bakery is located in the First Canadian place food court area right across from the Longos marketplace. There's another location on Victoria street. When they initially opened there was always a line up every time I go. Now it's not so bad. A study was done last year on one of the original size cupcakes and it was equivalent to 4 slices of cheese cakes!!! Oh well, you're not going eat cupcakes if you're on a diet. But these cupcakes are worth cheating on your diet with!! It comes in 3 sizes. The original, mini and cutie. I like the minis so that I can have a variety of different flavours and I would feel less guilty eating 6 minis as oppose to 2 originals. They have a variety of different flavours. My all time fav is the strawberry buttercream with chocolate or vanilla. Also the coconut vanilla bean so good. The icing is the same height as the cupcake itself! Amazing! This will forever be my favourite cupcake bakery!!
