Delta Chelsea is the last shuttle stop so be prepared for a long ride if you are using the airport express. The hotel is humongous and there were huge lineups when I went. They do have special desk for the Delta Privilege members and you get free internet so it is worth signing up just for that.I was checking in less than 10 min at the privilege desk. I was here on a longer stay so decided to go with a room with a kitchen thinking it would work out better than the signature suites. Big mistake the room hasn't been upgraded and has the old decor. Worse is the Air Conditioning was inconsistent as I would get blasts of cold if I had the cooling.
Kitchen was small and functional and nothing special. There are plenty of dining options with a market place downstairs and a buffet/steak house within. I dined at the Market place once and didn't find it interesting. The buffet was actually decent and the steaks here surprised me. You get a discount if you park for a week.
Location is OK. Not the greatest but you are close to the College station and Eaton Centre is a 5 min walk. There are a couple of 24 hour no frills restaurants and shoppers drug mart nearby which is a good thing. The pool was very crowded and the health center was as expected. There are deals to be had if you plan it right or stay longer.
