Low on taste. High on price.
I was craving pho & fried egg rolls with the rice paper wrap. Couldn't find many places in Vegas that serve up those kinds of egg rolls. So, I talked my husband into taking me here.
Before coming, we decided on what we wanted because we anticipated the usual Viet-style service - which is to give you the menu & zero time to peruse it before demanding your order. And sure enough, our waitress did exactly that.
I changed my mind about the pho because I could not smell any pho aromas at all. Not a good sign :/ I ordered just the egg rolls.
Hubby ordered banh mi, but was told "don't have". Ummm ok... So he settled on chicken wings & taro smoothie with boba.
The smoothie came out first. Boba was over cooked & mushy.
Egg rolls came next. They had either been refried too many times or had been left in the fryer too long because they were extremely oily.
Chicken wings came out last. They were unseasoned except for a drizzle of the sweet chili sauce that you can buy at any Asian grocery store. Very bland dish.
Our 3 items cost about $25 total. That's steep for Viet food. Were we overcharged? Idk. Doesn't matter though because we won't be back.
