| - Getting a dozen balloons on a Saturday sounds like an easy task, right? WRONG! I called to place my order and they insisted that I come in because it was a "busy weekend." So, I get in the car and go, only to wait in a line that took way too long. The clutter inside the store made my head spin, and I felt like I was in a warehouse of kitchen, bathroom, Halloween and party supplies. I honestly wouldn't know where to start if I was going there to find something specific. Lucky for me, the balloon counter was in the front area. (Phew)
After 12 minute in line,I placed my order and had to clarify which digits were in the number 11 several times with the cashier. They asked if I could come back because they were backed up, so I told them I could head back in two hours. We had a plan, they wrote 4:00 pm p/u on the bag and I thought it was all good. I headed back at 4:05 only to see my order wasn't even started yet. I wasn't the only one there in this predicament. They proceeded to expedite orders from people in line instead of fulfilling those that were asked to come back. This was another 15 minute setback on what should have been an easy process. Did I mention that 10 latex and the silver number 11 cost a whopping $41.00!? WOWSA!
The lady in charge of balloons was abrupt and crass with her staff. It seemed like some were on the job for the first day. I literally felt embarrassed for the employees. Needless to say, my balloon orders will need to be placed somewhere else.
