What a pleasant surprise.
We generally stay off the strip at Red Rock but decided to shake things up and stay on the strip. I'm a pinball geek and the deciding factor for staying and gambling at NYNY was the new, well maintained pinball machines in the arcade.
Terra (sp?) checked us in flawlessly and was over the top cheerful and personable. We get to our room and are thrilled to see that we got a corner strip view. The room, and for that matter, the entire casino was spotless. Our cable went out in the middle of the Masters, which we had bets on. Called the front desk and within minutes, Lamont was at our room and fixed the problem. He couldn't have been nicer.
Really liked the Flintstones, Rolling Stones and other newer slots. We originally had booked three nights but were having such a blast, we added two more nights. Couldn't get enough of Bruxies and other eateries in and around NYNY. Also, the guy that sings at the main bar is a hoot.
Only downside is the sports book is really small and the sirens on the strip woke us up each night.
Well done, NYNY..... Can't wait to return.
