  • Makkah reigns over cheap and lip-smacking take-out options on the Danforth. The fresh naan is soft with a bit of crispness and perfect for enclosing their perfectly spiced and creamy dhal as a vessel to the mouth. My favorite, of course, is the aloo gobi, rich and singing harmonious notes of flavour, it makes me happier with every bite. The guys at Makkah never disappoint and they often offer $5 specials; the food, however, is always special.
