| - This place was great. I learned of them from a referral from another shop that was too inundated with hail damage repair to complete my work quickly. I had my car in to AZ Collision Specialists for extensive hail damage in March. They gave me a timeline for the work and stuck to it. I also had a small scratch fixed at the same time at my own cost and they were able to quote me less than 1/2 of what I had been quoted at another shop. In the end, they even came in a bit under that estimate, which was a pleasant surprise.
I dealt mostly with the shop's owner, John Bock. He was always professional, friendly, courteous. The receptionist always knew me when I was in the shop and when I called.
When I picked up the car, she was gorgeous and like new. I brought her back a week later for a few minor things - a couple fingerprints on the interior fabric, and a loose interior strip. I also thought a couple issues were related to the work - a rattle in my speakers, and a tire scraping a bit of plastic under the car. It turns out those issues were not related to the body work, but John had the tire issue fixed nonetheless and double-checked and tightened all the speaker connections. (Turned out a speaker just happened to go at the same time which I then had fixed under my car's warranty.)
As another reviewer said, I, too, experienced issues with Enterprise across the street. I was promised one rate by the shop and then Enterprise claimed they didn't have my reservation and couldn't give me the promised rate. It sounded like rental car shenanigans to me. I brought the issue to the attention of owner John Bock, who handled it with Enterprise. I then got a call from Enterprise's manager and was given the correct daily rate.
I'm certainly hoping to never need their services again, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to use AZ Collision Specialists again.
