| - The four stars are because they finally fixed their wireless access.
It had been horrendous for my first couple months in Ohio City...and...as an off-the-gridder, I depend on the generosity of cafes and libraries for my worldly connections.
Tech issues out of the way, this is a great cafe. You'd think there'd be others in the area, but remarkably they remain the only game in town. Standard cafe fare, great coffee, good selection of teas...have some lunch items as well...which is nice given that they're surrounded by much more expensive lunch options.
The decor is simple and comfortable, and their bathrooms are clean.
The baristas know what they're talking about, and are all pretty friendly. They can make good recommendations.
I'd give this place five stars if it weren't for the short hours they keep: only until 8pm.
I'd agree with Amy, it'd be a great first date spot. If your date turns out to be lame, you're right on the bus and rapid lines for a quick escape downtown.
If your date is the most incredible person ever, just move next door to one of the great restaurants that surround it (Flying Fig, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Market Wine Bar, etc.).
Again, it's a great place...thank GOD they fixed the wireless.
I'm there at least once a week.
