| - My husband and I stayed over one night as part of our anniversary trip in April. The hotel itself is beautiful, and in a great location. Because we were celebrating our first anniversary, they gave us a complimentary upgrade from a regular King room to a suite on the 16th floor - which had an awesome view of the CN tower. It was quiet, the room was clean, the bed very comfortable - but thought that it was strange that it had a kitchen area with a sink and dishes, but no refrigerator or microwave. *shrug* We were only there one night, so it didn't matter that much. We had reservations at Le Saint Tropez restaurant, which was literally right across the street - great French cuisine and atmosphere. There were a number of bars, restaurants and lounges on that strip of King Street, which was great since we didn't know our way around and didn't want to venture too far from the hotel. And after the ridiculous amount we paid for the overnight parking ($27!!!!!), I wasn't trying to move the car so we wanted to walk everywhere. Overall, we had a nice time, but I next time I will opt for a less expensive hotel in the same area. Would have given it 4 stars, but the parking cost really ticked me off.
