  • Richardson's is an excellent choice if you love high quality New Mexican food. Today we enjoyed a delicious brunch- enchiladas (cheese & beef) Christmas style (red&green chile), carne adovada & over easy eggs, a bowl of beans with red chile, onions & cheese, mimosas, and bloody Mary's. All were excellent!!! It was a beautiful day so the patio seating was full but we were able to grab a spot at the bar inside which is always a good place to sit and enjoy your meal and cocktails. Next-door, at the Rokerij, or just south on the opposite side of 16 th street, at Dick's Hideaway, sitting at the bar is definitely The way to go because you can watch as the cooks prepare your food and enjoy the wonderful smell of the pecan wood used in the grills. Both the red and green chile are excellent- I generally prefer the red, but only slightly. There's not a bad thing on the menu and they always have some great specials that are not on the menu- The only challenge is convincing myself to order something other than my favorites that are on the menu!
